Contradictory Behaviours of France Need Serious Punishments
These days it seems that Emmanuel Macron is going to change his mind about the relations with Iran. This is totally in contrast with the word they said before.
Khodrocar – This time, the president of France talked about contravention of JCPOA soon after a meeting with Donald Trump. This new policy of Macron seem like the old ones, which they told in the end of JCPOA negotiations that was in order to open new gates for joining new contracts with Iranian automakers and airplane companies.
The French are the leaders of Iran’s automotive market in imports and assembly. Iran Khodro and Saipa assemble French cars in Iran.
Now, Iran must show some serious reactions about these contradictory behaviors of French government. Silence of Iranian authorities and government officials is a weakness in this situation.
The first thing is that the ministry of industry, mine and trade must threaten the French companies and provide a strategic list of the French automakers that they will sanction if they exit JCPOA. This action, well reminds the bad situation of French car makers before JCPOA.
Considering the situation, now that there is now no news about the Renault contract with IDRO and also Saipa-Citroen contract, maybe the main objective of the minister of industry, mine and trade, Mohammad Shariatmadari is to punish the French companies specially car companies.
Considering all these European’s contradictory behaviors in economic and political behaviors, maybe it is Iran’s term to cut these one sided partnership.
